Where do you turn when danger, temptation, and exhaustion all press in at once? In this episode we walk through Psalms 140 through 143. Psalm 140 honestly names violent enemies and trusts God as a stronghold. Psalm 141 prays for a guarded mouth and heart, asking for strength to resist evil that comes dressed in appealing forms.
Psalm 142 is the cry of someone trapped and overwhelmed, with no refuge but God. Psalm 143 admits our unworthiness, then asks God to teach, revive, and lead us through dark seasons by His steadfast love. Together they teach us to bring every kind of trouble—external and internal—to God.
